Extra virgin olive oil “Taggiasca Cultivar”
Extra virgin olive oil “Taggiasca Cultivar” is different from the D.O.P. because the harvest is not carried out in the D.O.P. certified zones, still in Western Liguria Ponente Riviera.
The characteristics are very similar because the olives are of the same “Cultivar” and the zones are adjacent.
It is defined a “must” extra virgin olive oil because it is decanted naturally, unfiltered and transplanted several times to avoid the excessive formation of sediment in the bottom of the bottles. A small amount of sediment is an indication of authenticity of the product.
Extra virgin olive oil “Taggiasca Cultivar” is a straw yellow colour with a decidedly sweet sensation.
